By using computer aided electronic nip analysis it is possible to measure the exact nip dimensions and make the necessary process adjustments in “real time” to provide  an even roll nip load profile. The result: significant improvements in performance. Nip-Improve takes exact measurements to define the optimum crowning of roll covers and the optimum settings on crown-controlled rolls. It also allows you to optimize nip symmetry by setting precise load parameters. As well as creating ideal conditions for roll covers and machine clothing (where applicable), this safeguards product quality.
